Betty Jo (Bridwell) Adams Aug. 7, 1926 – Nov. 15, 2009
Announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law & great-grandmother Betty Jo (Bridwell) Adams. Married to William (Bill) J. Adams, Jr. for 53 years, she was a long time collector of orphans (human and furry) and a friend to all. She was a wonderful person with a heart so big it touched everyone she met. Everyone wanted to be her friend and every dog she petted wanted to be an Adams’ dog.
Betty was a Cub Scout Den Mother, Hemet Elem. PTA President, Secretary, Ways & Means Officer and Halloween Coordinator. She took pound puppies around the valley to assisted living homes for the enjoyment of the guests & the puppies. For 25 years she painted Rock Indians & Spanish Dancers with make-up and assisted with wigs and hair for the Ramona Pageant.
As the Hemet Valley Hostess, she welcomed newcomers to “The most beautiful, friendly valley in the world”. She was Hemet’s most valuable Ambassador. After retirement she and Bill traveled the West Coast in a motor home telling everyone they met about the Heaven on Earth that was their Hemet, Calif.
