Georgia Gregory was born Feb. 8, 1887, at New London, the daughter of George
and Mary Binger Gregory.
She married John Long Dec. 15, 1905, and he died in 1936. On Dec. 31, 1947, she married J. R. Schafer. He died in 1967.
She was a member of the Grandview Community Bible Church.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Long of Oakdale, Calif., Wilbur Long of Mount Pleasant and Donald Long of Mount Pleasant and Donald Long of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Miss Florence Long of Ames, Mrs. Dorothy Oak of Marshalltown, Mrs. Lucille Richman of Muscatine and Mrs. Mary Wallace of Wapello; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Laura Carlson of Mount Pleasant.
Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at Grandview Community Bible church, with Pastor E. C. Wolfe officiating. Burial was in the Cairo cemetery.
